Christmas Cruise from Bayonne NJ in 2010

Cruise Freeks are already planning ahead to the Holidays in 2010. We're forming a group cruise on Royal Caribbean from Cape Liberty, Bayonne, NJ and you're invited to place your email in our opt-list to receive updates!

Christmas and winter cruises can make great cold-weather getaways for families. This provides a chance to bond together on a cruise ship over the holidays.

It can also be a great way to gather several family members or friends together in one spot for Christmas, Hanukkah or New Year's Eve. You can even spend some together time with in-laws, parents, grandparents and siblings on board, while getting intimate time with your spouse and children in ports of call.

Schools and colleges have extended breaks at this time. The cruise industry has discovered that this is a great season to target families, and many are offering Christmas, winter, Hanukkah or New Year's Eve themed cruises.

In 2010, Cruise Freek Forums will be sailing from Cape Liberty, Bayonne, NJ for a Caribbean cruise during the Holidays. Now is the time to start thinking about this fantastic opportunity and sign up for our free, no obligation opt-in newsletter. Once pricing comes out in 2009, you'll be informed of the pricing, amenities and travel agent selected. There is no obligation to book if you sign up with out opt-in letter: http://cruisefreekforums.forumfreek.com/Cruise-Freek-For ...

Our Christmas 2010 Opt-in List

I've received a few emails accusing me of collecting emails for spam purposes and, this is just not true. If you would bother to take the time, you would see that Cruise Freek Forums is very real. You would also see that our opt-in lists always allow you to unsubscribe. Therefore, if YOU are the person putting in your email address, there is no way or justification of accusing me of trying to spam. I am deeply resentful AND, believe me, I know your loyalties are to another board.

I apologize for this rant but, it angers me to think people are that jealous and mean. Our board owner on Cruise Freek Forums came up with a unique marketing idea and now the other boards are annoyed they didn't think of it first. Well, too bad! We're here to stay so deal with us!

That being said, you are invited to join our opt-in list, which you will see you can unsubscribe from at anytime:

Cruise Freek Forums Present Christmas 2010

Cruise Freek Forums Present:

Our Annual Christmas/New Year's Sailing

in 2010 we are pleased to announce

Royal Caribbean
from Cape Liberty, Bayonne, New Jersey

Well hopefully that has grabbed your attention! Yes that's right, Cruise Freek Forums is already two and a half years into the future planning our 2010 Christmas Cruise from Bayonne, New Jersey.

Today, I am going to tell you about the exciting pre-cruise plans that we are currently developing on Cruise Freek Forums. Many of us on Cruise Freek Forums are tired of other cruise message boards on the web, especially when it comes to group cruise choices. For some reason, it's extremely hard to get approval for peak week groups. Reasons cited on other sites is that "the Holiday's are a hard sell because people want to be with their families" and "it's too expensive" and a host of other excuses.

The truth is that the Holidays - meaning Christmas and New Years - are two of the most popular weeks of the year to sail and the administrator on Cruise Freek Forums has the vision to realize this and, is helping us pull together what will turn out to be a fantastic cruise.

If you're the whiner type - you're already complaining - I can hear you now "Why would I want to sail from a cold weather port". Well, all I can say is like it or lump it. As I explained in yesterday's post this sailing is being organized mainly by people from the New York City tri-state area and those within driving distance. OBLIVIOUSLY THERE IS A MARKET FOR US OR ROYAL CARIBBEAN NEVER WOULD HAVE PUT A SHIP UP HERE FULL TIME. I will not say it again. Don't like it? Then thanks for reading and have a nice day. Have a great time standing in line at the airport to get to YOUR cruise.

Still reading? Ok then! You're who I'm talking to and you're the ones we want joining us on this sailing!

Our pre-cruise plans are going to be rather unconventional for a sailing from Cape Liberty, Bayonne, NJ. If you have a tight budget, we apologize but, this is what the majority want on the message board and, unlike other boards, majority rules on Cruise Freeks Forums Cruise Message Board.
We are planning one and two night pre-cruise packages in Manhattan. Yes, you read right, Manhattan. We understand fully that hotel prices are going to be double of hotels located in New Jersey but, it's part of the experience we are offering our cruisers. Why? Because Manhattan during the Holidays can only be described as magical. Currently in the works are plans to offer a city holiday lights tour (a very worthwhile enclosed bus tour that will allow you to see all the glam and glitter without the blisters on your feet), and, we are currently taking a poll to see if people would rather attend a Broadway show or go to Radio City for the Christmas Spectacular or both. We will be including dinner in the package and, it's going to be a wonderful time for all who join our group. Sometimes words just aren't enough, sometimes photos are required so this is just a sampling of what you can expect to see in Manhattan during the holidays:

Rockefeller Center

Macy's Window Display (many more than this one)

Radio City Music Hall

Sorry that's all you get for now - have to save some so you'll come back and read again and, hopefully start giving serious consideration to this wonderful cruise opportunity.

What are you doing in December 2010? Want to take a cruise?

Hey there! Welcome to my first blog entry named Cruising with Cruise Freeks in 2010. I'm Vinnie, I'm the writer of this blog and, I'm going to be telling you about a great cruise opportunity coming your way in the next two years.

I belong to a cruise message board called Cruise Freek Forums and, I'm organizing a cruise from Cape Liberty, Bayonne, New Jersey aboard whatever ship Royal Caribbean sends our way in 2010.

Now keep your shirt on, I know you're already saying you don't know what you're doing next week, how can you think ahead to 2010, during the holidays. Am I right?

It's pretty simple and straight forward. Cruising is not like other vacations, you can book as early as 18 months from departure date. And, the other beauty of cruising is that you've already paid for 80 - 90% of the expenses before you step foot on the ship. Can you think of anything better? Knowing you're vacation is pretty much paid for before you even leave? Kind of hard to beat that type of deal, am I right?

Ok so you're saying why a cruise. I say why not? It's the best deal around! You get your transportation, entertainment, and food included in the price. Oh I know, you're thinking you're going to get seasick. Highly unlikely, today's ships have stabilizers that reduce the rolling and pitching greatly. I hear ya, I hear ya...you're whining because I'm pushing a Christmas and New Year's cruise and "so and so" from your family won't want to go.

This is for so and so -

  • No cooking, cleaning or other household chores for the length of the cruise
  • Time to spend with your family or friends, isn't this one of the main points to the holidays?
  • A chance to get out of the cold, winter weather many areas experience during this time of year
  • Special holiday menus in the dining rooms on the ships to mark Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
  • Ships are adorned with Christmas trees, garland and other holiday decorations
  • Nearly every major cruise line offers religious services aboard, and, most have a Roman Catholic priest aboard to celebrate mass. If Chanukkah happens to fall during the sailing, most lines also have a rabbi or cantor aboard to conduct services for those who wish to attend
Why Royal Caribbean and why from Bayonne, NJ? Royal Caribbean offers one of the best multi-generational cruising experiences in today's cruise line market. From casinos to food to the signature rock climbing wall and Ocean Adventure for kids - there is something for everyone - young and old alike and thus it makes it perfect for a family vacation during the holidays.

We're cruising out of Bayonne, NJ because many people simply don't want to fly to Florida or Puerto Rico or other locations during the holidays, and, let's face it, if you've been on a cruise, you know a heavy percentage come from the New York tri-state area. We're also selecting Cape Liberty which is the name of the cruise port in Bayonne, NJ because of it's huge parking facilities and the fact "other" cruise board never seem to take advantage of the holiday season and sailing from the greater NY/NJ area.

So now that I have your attention, how about signing up for our opt-in interest list in this sailing. The more people we get - the better for everyone in our group. Oh and that's the other thing, the cruise is being sponsored by Cruise Freek Forums.

WHY BOOK A GROUP CRUISE WITH CRUISE FREEK FORUMS?

1) No forced socializations! We will certainly organize Meet and Greets and other such activities if there is enough interest, however, you are never required to attend. Likewise, you may select your dining time and table size just like if you were booking an individual reservation. It's your vacation, it's your time!

2) Groups generally tend to receive some type of amenities package like onboard credit and other benefits such as bottles of wine or dinner at a specialty restaurant and depending on the cruise line selected, it could even mean reduced fares for members of the group.

3) Reliable, dependable, trustworthy travel agents to make booking your cruise a pleasure. Unless there is a scheduling conflict, our assigned travel agent will be escorting the group to aid with any onboard requirements that might arise.

So, do I have your attention? GOOD! Sign up for our no obligation opt-in list. Now don't panic, you're not signing away your life or committing to book this sailing. All this amounts to is putting your email on a list to say you're interested. You'll get an occasional email about this sailing and you can unsubscribe at anytime. So come on and sign up, no reason not to do it!
